Cope: b. 1947. i reside on bowen island off the coast of british columbia
canada.. i am, and have been an abstract painter for the last 25 yrs..
fallen through the cracks?..not sure i ever saw any... i have maintained
a lifestyle that has afforded me to be in my studio and pursue my
passion for colour and form. . .

am very encouraged with what you guys are doing out there/here and
believe that true abstraction is still alive and much more than an
understanding of the past.. my studio is situated in 6 and half acres
of forest on a rocky bluff overlooking peace and solitude.. up here
we feel the spiritual sensation of an uncluttered manMade existance...i
peek into the future, a voyuer if you like, i paint from this place
bringing back snapshots of my journeys in the form of colourful abstractions...
i have included a picture of *shoreleave* my studio where i live and
work. . .
