Artist: Sherry Walter has been painting for pleasure for the last ten years and recently began a collection of religious abstract works which she believes show the similarities between her life struggles and those of Biblical characters.

Defining Abstraction: Sherry uses color and forms to convey her ideas on life and religion. In all of her abstract works there are what she describes as 'secret' or 'hidden' messages showing her relationship to the chosen subject or theme. "Abstract" to her is a way to bring her emotions to canvas in a way that everyone who views it will be able to understand her thoughts by looking 'into' her paintings at the abstract messages.
